For those who don’t know, Mahershala Ali actually had a rap career before focusing on acting and becoming a star on screen. Under the name Prince Ali, he signed to indie label Hieroglyphics Imperium and released an album called Curb Side Service in 2007.
Those bars were on show this week at Toronto Film Festival, where he was promoting his new movie Green Book and asked to show off his skills on stage. The verse didn’t disappoint.
