Fresh from the release of his new K.O.B. (King of Brooklyn) EP, Maino made his return to “The World’s Most Dangerous Morning Show”, The Breakfast Club. In the interview, he clears up the project’s background paying homage to Frank White and Iceberg Slim and only felt Fabolous had the authority to use the title. Angela Yee brought up Troy Ave in the borough, but Maino revealed his claim of King should be a mindset all rappers should feel if they’re moving in the streets correctly (see: Pimp C’s T.I. King interlude).
Things transitioned to controversial situation with Atlanta rapper Trinidad Jame$, which he cleared things up on an alleged situation pertaining to missing jewelry. Charlamagne moved to discussing Maino’s previous attempt at almost doing reality TV, but changed his mind last second after learning his private life would be exploited.
