Most of us celebrated Gucci Mane‘s return from prison and supported his Everybody Looking album, but things haven’t always been good for La Flare. He may be a free man, but he’s also a changed man. Going to prison changed his outlook on life. He’s healthier, more positive and has vowed to be different than he was before he got locked up.
The Atlanta rapper has been featured in a short documentary titled Guwop Home: The Making of Everybody Looking, which finds Gucci explaining how the new album came together in six days. Mike WiLL Made It also makes a cameo appearance and reveals that the first beat he sent Guwop when he got out of prison was indeed “First Day Out The Feds” (he titled it that too).
To ensure he doesn’t go back to jail, Gucci has changed his whole lifestyle. He strayed away from the negative forces in his life, left his addiction and has put the man he used to be behind him.
