Last year was a mess for Cash Money Records. Lil Wayne and Birdman were involved in a public war of words, taking each other to court for multi-million lawsuits and the beef was at a peak.
Ever since the start of the year, it seems like the tension between Baby and Weezy has simmered down and things have repaired itself enough that the two are now on the same record. Interestingly enough, it’s because of Mannie Fresh too. There has been some talk that Mannie, Wayne and Juvenile are working on an album —and while that has yet to be confirmed 100%— we now know that the legendary producer is working on a project of his own.
“Hate” is the appetizer to what’s on the way from Mannie and what better way to kick things off than to get a few of the Hot Boys and reunite the Big Tymers on a record?
