If you’ve been anywhere near a radio station or turned on the TV, you’ve probably heard Mark Ronson‘s “Uptown Funk” blasting through the speakers. He’s currently sitting at number one in the Billboard Hot 100 with the single, which is now translating into music for a movie soundtrack. He and Geoff Zanelli have contributed a few songs for Mortdecai, one that serves as an instrumental and the other that would fit well on Ronson’s latest effort Uptown Special.
Zanelli is not a stranger to movie scores, doing work on Steven Spielberg’s with Into the West (he actually won an Emmy for this), Disturbia and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Stream their collaborative work on Mortdecai below. The soundtrack is out tomorrow.
