Missing a few rappers, but this collection is sick!
It’s no secret that Marvel Comics has an infatuation with hip-hop and the urban culture can say the same in reverse about the legendary comic book company. From Eminem teaming up with the Punisher in 2009, to Run the Jewels recently having their own comic covers as Howard the Duck and Deadpool earlier this year, Marvel is planning on releasing a hip-hop inspired variant covers collection to celebrate some of the greatest rap albums over the last 30 years. Standout projects from the 11 covers include: Doctor Strange on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and Spider-Man on the cover of A Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders.
Take a look at all eleven covers above, which should be arriving to retailers in limited quantities soon.
