New Mary album before the end of the year?
Nearly two years has passed since we’ve heard a new album from Mary J. Blige, but it looks like the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is set to start her next music campaign real soon.
Back in 2014, listeners saw her on the official Think Like a Man Too soundtrack, which was an unofficial album, which had strong replay value after its release. However, her A&R, Eddie Fourcell was featured in the Arbiters of A&R podcast recently to drop a megaton.
Apparently, Mary has tapped both Hit-Boy and Kanye West for her mystery effort – which will also serve as her first official collaboration with the founder of G.O.O.D. Music. Unfortunately, Mr. Fourcell didn’t go into any other details regarding his artist, but raised the anticipation level even higher for the R&B icons return. Take a listen to the brief revelation below.
