Math Hoffa Gets Banned From URLTV in 2013
Fast-forward to last August, Math Hoffa was in the midst of having the biggest battle of his career thus far on the URLTV stage for Summer Madness 3. Hoffa was battling longtime New Jersey emcee, Serius Jones for not only URLTV’s biggest event to date, but arguably the largest battle to ever take place. There was obvious tension from the two rappers, but during one of Math’s rounds, Serius mocked one of his opponent’s rhymes; which once again led to Hoffa losing his cool. This time however, it was on the biggest stage for battle scene and their “Wrestlemania” for the culture that made things worse.
Putting URL in a bad position, Math Hoffa was banned from the most respected battle league in the world. Both sides would obviously still love to work with each other under different circumstances, but branding and accessing more venues for the betterment of the URLTV movement has put the Brooklyn rapper on an indefinite leave.
