Even though we haven’t heard too much from the singer for a notable period of time, Maxine Ashley returns with a brand new cover of one of Portishead’s finest pieces of work. Accompanied with a seductive video, her easily impressive version of 1995’s “Glory Box” captures the utmost original feel of the track, whilst adding her own vocals to make the the offering stand out as a truly momentous occasion, with the black and white visuals setting the romantic tone. Ashley’s forthcoming Mood Swings EP is expected to be released on September 17th, which could certainly move the singer further into a positive direction.
