Meek Mill Made Right Move Parting Ways with Roc Nation, But Here’s What He has to Do

Meek Mill Leaves Roc Nation Management

music “industry” has no friends, Meek. . .

Meek Mill leaves Roc Nation management, as we examine what the Philadelphia rapper has to do moving forward with his career. When Expensive Pain released, we kind of sensed something was off with the way the project was being promoted. It saw limited support from his rap peers, which hindered the project from releasing.

Since being the face of Jay-Z and Roc Nation’s Prison Reform Alliance, which has had success in getting laws passed this year, it’s looking like their music partnership is over forever. Yesterday, a report was released, that Meek Mill and Roc Nation had parted ways after 10 years.

This led to Meek jumping on social media to explain everything, which he opted on not bad talking about any of his former labelmates and OGs. However, he did go in on his former major distribution label, reiterating that he would never talk bad about his friends Jigga and Rozay.

Now, with his DreamChasers imprint still being distributed through Roc Nation, Meek Mill the artist, will have his own situation going forward. With Meek still working alongside Jay-Z with prison reform and multiple investments, he still wants to have a successful rap career.

For Meek to reemerge as one of the top acts in music, he needs to flood the scene with music. Over the past year, we’ve seen multiple tracks on Instagram previewed, and they’ve never released. Shockingly, there’s still a buzz surrounding those same tracks that the general public have never heard, which we believe with the right direction can turn heads from the masses towards his music.

Take a look at the media from his social media comments below.
