Earlier this month, Drake, 40 and Oliver revealed their latest addition to OVO Sound. After seeing success thus far with fellow Canadian acts PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan and even helping launch The Weeknd’s career, OVO stepped outside the box adding Atlanta’s iLOVEMakonnen to their recently launched imprint.
While most know him from the popular Drake-assisted track “Tuesday,” released a few weeks ago, Complex got a chance to sit-down with one of the rising new talents creeping to the mainstream. During the conversation, he discusses opening for the DRAKEvLILWAYNE concert series during its tail end, as well as current career plans he’s been plotting following the release of Drink More Water 4 and his self-titled EP.
