With her Good News album dropping on Friday November 20, Megan Thee Stallion is sharing more news about her incident with Tory Lanez.
In a cover story with GQ Magazine, the rapstress talked about her shooting and said that after the fact, Tory tried to pay her to keep her silent. It happened when the argument started and she felt like she needed to get another ride home. But considering it was late and she was in a bikini, she opted to get in Tory’s car. When she tried to get out, he shot at her. Then he tried to bribe her so she wouldn’t say anything.
“[At this point] I’m really scared because this is like right in the middle of all the protesting. Police are just killing everybody for no reason, and I’m thinking, ‘I can’t believe you even think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me.’
Like, I never put my hands on nobody. I barely even said anything to the man who shot me when I was walking away. We were literally like five minutes away from the house.”
Of course, Lanez and his lawyer denied any of this from taking place.
We can assume that Megan will be addressing more of that incident in the Hollywood Hills on her upcoming project this Friday.
