Within each release that MeLo-X pieces together, there happens to be a particular topic of conversation throughout. The storytelling increases with a new single titled “The Truth,” giving the rapper a chance to speak through social commentary on recent incidents that have occurred in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. His argument pushes through an explanation of the direct effect that the police’s brutality has on youth and families in the community.
