It’s tough to know where Michael Jackson‘s head would have been if he were still alive to give us this music from his own perspective. We’re sure the visuals would differ immensely and truth of the matter is, we would probably never hear songs like these because they would never see the light of day and remain locked in the vault.
While “A Place With No Name” features rare footage of MJ’s essence and his version of America’s 1971 hit is a standout on XSCAPE, it’s still missing Michael’s vision. We can still appreciate the video for what it is, though.
R.I.P. to the King of Pop.
