After the video was released, he reached out to Mike and told him how much he liked it, thanking him for making a track dedicated to the brand. To keep the movement organic, he didn’t want to outright cosign the song so people didn’t think it was fake, but he did appreciate what they did with it.
Also, in this talk with MTV News, Mike WiLL said a lot of shots in the video of certain Jordans were left on the cutting room floor. He hopes people noticed all the rare shoes they had in the video, because he’s really trying to rep for the sneakerheads.
