The long lost member of Destiny’s Child is out here putting out fire and you don’t even know it. Michelle Williams’ new single “If We Had Your Eyes” carries a positive message, with each verse telling the story of a homeless man and a young woman, respectively. She basically asks God to see things more through his eyes, so we’d have more compassion and empathy towards people, rather than judgement and hatred.
Did she sneak up on us with a gospel track? Yeah she did.
