Arguably the producer of the year to some, Mike WiLL Made It stopped by Hot 107.9 in his hometown of Atlanta to discuss a wide array of topics. With the release of his new mixtape “Est. In 1989 Pt 2.5,” Mike discussed having lots of exclusives for the project including all of the OG’s and new talent from the likes of fellow ATL natives Trinidad Jame$ and Two9. He also touched on being named the producer of the year by the Source for 2012 which he felt blessed to have this achievement at the tender age of 23.
From “No Lie” to “Bandz A Make Her Dance” and even “Tupac Back,” Mike speaks on the bar that’s set for him as a producer after having countless hits which he’s ready for the challenge ahead including switching his style with “Turn On The Lights.”
Mike jumps into working with Juicy J and it being an honor with the two’s plans for the J’s next upcoming single “Show Out” featuring Big Sean and Young Jeezy. Hot 107.9 brings up the elephant in the room, which most producers eventually do which is branch of become an artist as Mike says he’s not so sure about becoming a rapper but wants to jump into executive producing.
