Red Bull Academy’s New York: Five Out of Five Tour officially got underway last night at Webster Hall, with Lloyd Banks and Mobb Deep opening up the Queens leg of the festivities. The night was full of fans getting rowdy, water bottles being splashed in the crowd by PLK and folks getting BODIED for sparking up that ganja.
Mobb Deep sat down with Sasha Jenkins earlier in the day to speak on The Infamous album and answered a slew of interesting questions about the making of.., as well the process they went through at that time and key folks that helped along the way.
By the time Lloyd Banks hit the stage, the crowd was ready to hear some of that classic ish from his Hunger 4 More album and the place went completely H.A.M. when “Start It Up” dropped. The M-O-B-B also shut it down, with a bunch classics from their catalog and ended the show with “Shook Ones II” — which had the building erupting in madness.
