Besides making a rare appearance on A$AP Rocky‘s A.L.L.A. album, we have not heard much from Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def. That Mannie Fresh collaborative project is still on deck and doesn’t seem to be on the horizon any time soon, but in a surprising turn of events, Mos has recorded a track in Ethiopia with Electric Wire Hustle in one take and released it. Lord knows what he was doing there at the time, but whatever inspired him to drop some new music, we’ll take it.
As random as that sounds, the song is relaxing and perfect for a Friday.
