You may find it hard to believe, but Mr Hudson’s last solo album was released almost four years ago under G.O.O.D. Music. Along with occasional glimpses on featured tracks over the years, the London singer experienced a slight change by putting out a joint album with Rosie Oddie (as BIGkids) titled Never Grow Up late last year. The time has finally arrived for Hudson’s brand new single “Fred Astaire” to be released, which gives us an extremely instrument-driven form of delivery, reminsiscent of his earlier work with The Library. It’s definitely a sincere pleasure to hear some new music from the crooner, giving us plenty of hope for more music throughout the course of 2013.
