Talk about a comeback story of sorts as 2 Chainz clocks in at the number two spot on MTVs “Hottest MCs” list. This is a well deserved honor for him, as he dominated the game with his mass amounts of features and content delivered to the streets. Not to mention the release of his debut solo album Based On A T.R.U. Story, which was viewed upon very favorably. He was also able to take his act mainstream with television appearances and numerous videos. No telling what the artist formerly known as Tity Boi has in store for the coming future, but we are confident it will be great.
MTV finally announced the number one slot on their much talked about “Hottest MCs” list. In not a very surprising move, Kendrick Lamar takes the top honor, which is well deserved for the TDE captain. Not only did Kendrick release one of the best albums we have heard in a long while in Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City, but he seemed to body every single verse that we can remember. He was also able to make the smooth move into the public eye with great visuals and even an appearance on Saturday Night Live. To top it off he has fully established himself as one of the best performers in all of music, killing every show and never leaving fans disappointed. There is no telling how far Kendrick can take it in this music game, and we can’t wait to watch it happen.
