Nardwuar the Human Serviette was on his grind at SXSW last week in Austin, TX already releasing his interview with Joey Bada$$ & the Pro Era collective; but today we get the latest installment from his “vs.” series with an exclusive interview with Trinidad Jame$.
Nardwuar starts the off the interview with presenting James an exclusive rare vinyl of fellow Trinidad born recording artist Mighty Sparrow with “Sparromania!” Trinidad cites Mighty Sparrow as one of the only artist he grew up listening to in his early child hood days including being one of his father’s favorite artists. Nardwuar, who really did his research for the interview brought up some of Trinidad’s favorite foods, jobs that nobody knows and first sets he performed in ATL. He also speaks on the ATL two-9 collective which he cites them as the down-south version of the Wu-Tang clan.
The interview concludes with James giving Nadwuar a gift of his own of an exclusive autographed copy of his “Don’t Be S.A.F.E.” mixtape. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are present in the background for an upcoming interview with Mack cites the two wore the same gold watch in each of their most popular videos.
