It’s gonna be a hot summer!
With the launch of Mass Appeal Records and Fashawn dropping his sophomore album on the label, there are still plenty of moves to be made from Nas‘ end. The rest of the roster is still gearing up for their own solo material, which us wonder if the boss would drop something this year as well.
During a mini rant in Orlando, that question has been answered. While live on stage, Nas announced his album was coming this Summer in the heat of the moment, in between condemning sniches and fake dudes. It was like the 2015 PSA of “Watch Dem Niggas” up on that stage (for cats who forgot what’s really real), but at least we got some news out of it.
Until details pop up about how much of the album is done and who will be featured on it, this is more than enough to keep us excited and running back his catalog in preparation.
