Someone that has really impressed us this year is Jacob Banks. His debut EP is very mellow and soulful, almost giving us flashbacks of when we first heard John Legend. His voice gets scratchy at times, but only because of how much emotion he puts into behind his words. If his EP is any indication of what’s to come, then we’ll gladly give him our money when that full-length LP is released.
