Being the son of Rebbie Jackson might be a gift and curse for Austin Brown. The amount of pressure that would come from being a Jackson has to be high, but he’s not trying to make that his focal point. He has talent on his own. Highway 85 should prove that.
His sound is a real big mix of different genres, meshing ’70s soul grooves, with upbeat electronica Pop. It sounds old and new all at the same time.
