The separation of Kids These Days may have been a huge shock to the majority, but there’s certainly been no shortage of releases from solo members of the group. After teasing people with the brilliant “Zion” a couple of weeks ago, Nico Segal returns for the release of his Donnie Trumpet project in its entirety, which contains guest contributions from the likes of Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa and Kiara Lanier across the seven well-bodied tracks. There continues to be an endless run of talented artists making themselves known from Chicago, and Segal’s techniques when managing a trumpet might just blow you away.
