Nispey Hussle stops by The Cruz Show
Earlier this week, Power 106 in Los Angeles announced the official Powerhouse 2015 lineup for their upcoming May 16th event. With Kanye West headlining the big show, Nipsey Hu$$le was revealed as one of the featured artist to hit the major stage. Back home in Los Angeles, Nayborhood Nip stopped by The Cruz Show to discuss his excitement for the staying in his own city, versus going to NYC for Summer Jam.
During the interview, the Crenshaw rapper opened up on building his own studio over the past year, which has been some of the hold up for why listeners haven’t received the album, but he did reassure multiple times that it’s nearing. In the next couple of weeks, Nip the Crip touched on a conversation he had with the legendary Lyor Cohen to save his great music for the album – while still staying active for the streets.
Still on the independent grind, he briefly discussed his need to remain under the All Money In umbrella but wanted to partner up with a company down the line. Watch more from the interview, where he also talks on JAY Z supporting his $100 dollar Crenshaw album and giving it a co-sign purchasing a few copies of the project.
