Nayborhood Nip explores a deeper side to rap.

It’s no secret that Nipsey Hu$$le has been one of the more successful independent rappers over the last decade, but the Crenshaw representative opens up on how he entered the game. In a recent sit-down with BET Networks, Nayborhood Nip opened up on how he gained his standout name from always being in the hustle.

He originally planned to become a producer using the MPC in his early days, citing Jermaine Dupri and Swizz Beatz as his early inspirations to make high quality sounds with a limited budget at the time.
