We caught wind of fun. randomly (it’s a recurring theme when you discover artists) and we were really fucking with their music, but we never pictured it going straight to the top like it did. We knew they had potential and would eventually make it, but “We Are Young” skyrocketed in a short amount of time. From one week to the next, it seemed.
By the time we knew it, Glee was covering their song on TV, the single was #1 and millions of people were exposed to the album (we saw it at Whole Foods). I guess that’s that’s the ultimate goal anyway, right? They deserve it.
