Operation Drilly
NPYD indictment G-Side, Drilly gang take down is explained by multiple law enforcement agents after their raid of the well-known Bloods set. Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark issued a statement saying, “These defendants terrorized residents of the Fordham/Bedford Park neighborhoods who were forced to run for their lives as bullets flew.”
In a joint effort with the NYPD and DA’s office, eighteen guns were recovered, along with 20 alleged gang members arrested on multiple charges. In the 82-coutn indictment, it was revealed that members of the G-Side/Drilly gang were taken down from the Bloods subset of Sex Money Murder.
In our opinion, what caused the heavy investigation, was the infamous Bronx barbershop shooting last October 2021, which resulted in fatalities. NYPD alleges that the crew would brag about bloodshed in their music videos, where authorities are accusing them of at least 32 acts of shootings, stabbings and other crimes.
Dubbed ‘Operation Drilly’, the NYPD had been investigating the G-Side collective over crimes in Bedford Park and Fordham neighborhoods of the Bronx over the last 10 months.
So far, 20 people are being charged, along with 82 counts presented from murder to grand larceny.
