Open Mike Eagle and Paul White teamed up to release the joint album Hella Personal Film Festival in March, and today, they’re back with a video for one of its standouts “Admitting the Endorphin Addiction.”
The song itself already felt good, but the Ryan Calavano-directed video really brings it to life. In it, Mike walks around the sunny sidewalk of Venice and catches the eye of a free-spirited girl, who dances in front of him and drags him to the beach. Halfway through, the tides turn and he’s the one doing all the work.
Beyond the surface, it’s about Mike escaping not only drug addiction, but technology too.
