Jacquees Since You Playing

Last year Jacquees dropped probably his best project in the form of Mood. Without warning in the middle of the month Jacquees came back with a follow up to that tape Since You Playing. The first thing that works off rip with the mixtape is how much is produced by frequent collaborator Nash B. They have great chemistry and it shows throughout the tape.
An easy highlight from the tape is the remix of “B.E.D.” that now features Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign. It was a highlight on Mood, and it’s no different here. Ty drops off a player verse as usual and Quavo takes his feature hot streak into 2017. Jacquees is in his bag throughout the tape as usual with his songs about women and sex being great as usual. He ends the tape on an especially strong note with the last four songs all being a 10 out of 10.
Jacquees shows a lot more promise on this mixtape, with good reason. He’s good great production behind him, a great voice, and women love him. He has a few well placed features here that help, but that doesn’t matter because Jacquees shines on his own on Since You Playing.
