It’s absolutely insane to say that it’s been 16 YEARS since the tragic passing of Tupac Shakur. Lord knows it feels like it just happened. Like always, 2pac music stays playing on our computer, car and everything in between. Blasting Me Against The World is a normal thing. Cursing through every word to “Hit ‘Em Up” happens EVERY week.
If it’s one thing we can say about ‘Pac’s music is that it’s truly timeless. “Changes,” which was recorded back in 1992 and was featured on his diamond certified Greatest Hits CD, talks about stuff that we still go through today. That type of realness is what the game lacks now. Watching this video also takes us back to when the visual first came out, because it showed never-before-seen pictures from him. At the time, we were still holding on to dear hope that he was still alive and those Makaveli conspiracies were true.
Make sure you spin a 2pac album one time and pour out a little liquor for our soldier who was so ahead of his time and made such an impact on the game and our lives.
