Beanie Sigel might not be too popping with the youngn’s nowadays, as they’ve ushered in a whole new wave of Philly artists, but at one point, Beans was one of the realest in the game. His debut single and title track off The Truth, painted quite the street picture and automatically established B-Sig with that arsenic flow. That’s a Kanye West beat too.
We were one of the people who supported Sigel Sigel and bought his album in stores and even if the single didn’t go platinum or anything, were still early fans of State Prop.
