Most woke up today with the earth-shattering news that Kanye West impregnated Kim Kardashian, with the official video of the on-stage announcement surfacing. If you watch the video, you can see Yeezy do his infamous autotune interlude, singing God knows what. Then about halfway through, he hints at the news explicitly with classic Jodeci lyrics:
“So you’re having my baby, and it means so much to me.”
“Forever My Lady” was the first of five #1’s for Jodeci, coming from the classic 1991 album of the same. It is a record that’s lived in timeless baby making lists for decades, and one of Jodeci’s most memorable tracks to date. We can see why Kanye would dedicate it.
