Lord knows how many years we were crushing on Mariah Carey as a direct result of this video being released. We remember calling into our local radio station to hear the Bad Boy remix of this song and the DJ specifically told us they wouldn’t play rap. What a joke. We ended up taking our lunch money to Sam Goody and copped the CDS.
This remains one of Mariah Carey’s best songs to date, from her 1997 album Butterfly.
