Over the week, Goodie Mob has been all over the place in the media world to promote their upcoming album “Age Against the Machine.” In their recent visit to MTV’s Rap Fix, Goodie Mob discussed the recent rumors of André 3000 releasing new music in the coming months. We’ve seen him in the studio with Mike WiLL Made It in the past, but The Mob is giving 3Stacks his time to get his feet back in the game due to high-expectations.
We’re not sure if the world was ready for an official OutKast and Goodie Mob collaboration album as the Dungeon Family; but after Dre 3000 makes his return next year (allegedly), we’re hopeful the two sides can get in the studio and deliver something quality material that’s missing in hip-hop today.
Today, we had to pay homage to the ATL with the classic OutKast and Cee Lo single “In Due Time.” Seen on the Soul Food soundtrack back in 1997, the two sides delivered a gem discussing the obstacles and hardships urban societies had dealt with their entire life, but to always keep a positive mental.
Our favorite memories from this video, was seeing OutKast and Cee Lo in that Cadillac DeVille with all them bad ass kids in the backseat. Even though the car was crowded, we could tell they were all having one of their most enjoyable video shoots.
Sidenote: Why couldn’t this of been on the LIFE soundtrack?
