For those thinking, “Who is NABIL?” might get a surprise when you find out what videos he’s directed. They might actually be some of your favorites. The Australian photographer with roots in Chicago has gone on to do some great things in his career, most notably helped Kanye West with some of his projects, including his Glow In The Dark book.
With photography being the focus of his early career, he has now branched out to videos and film —-even shooting a documentary titled Bouncing Cats, which focuses on teaching the b-boy culture and dance techniques through a workshop, to Ugandan disenfranchised youth. The documentary went on to win various awards.
