First off, RIP Proof. Ironically, the year before he died, Big Proof’s sophomore LP was concept album centered around dealing with death. Listening to Proof spit his pain through the booth; he said himself, he could sense the end was near and properly had 50 Cent on the chorus “Forgive Me.” Do remember, Fif was no stranger to near-death situations.
