We’re slowly approaching 20 years into the career of Kelis, and there looks to be no sign of stopping anytime soon. From taking a focus on the likes of hip-hop, R&B and more of an electro-pop sound, there appears to be nothing she can’t do. The New York singer-songwriter released her sixth studio album FOOD last Tuesday, which was entirely produced by the talented Dave Sitek, who handled the earthy backdrop beneath her rich vocals, in order to create an electronic-soul energy.
