With the success of the rap launch of Bad Boy’s rap division for the B.I.G. M.A.C.K. combination, the labels two most important rappers had to have a collaborative track as Craig Mac’s “Flava in Ya Ear” had achieved platinum success but Puffy felt it could go on multi-platinum. He decided to do a remix version featuring L.L. Cool J, Bussa Buss, Rampage and Frank White. In our opinion, this was arguably Biggie’s best feature not only the fact that he had the best verse on the record but it was our first time seeing a rapper “Debo” another artists track rapping for nearly a minute on the first verse.
