Stay tuned for Pandora’s official streaming service!

With Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify and Google Play still battling it, another major player is looking to creep into the endless music wars. According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Pandora is looking to expand its brand in the coming weeks, with launching an official music streaming service.

Its roll-out could arrive as soon as September, as the internet radio company will likely see an increase higher than its 100 million active user-base. Company CEO, Tim Westergren explained last June that his company is planning a $10 monthly plan, which would likely include off-line play, as well as no ads; but pending licensing deals are the only thing holding them up from an announcement.

Currently, Pandora has a $5-a-month plan for ad-free listening, as well as a day pass for 99 cents. Whether or not the company plans to change their entire rate of plans remains to be seen, but we’ll keep you updated in the near weeks regarding final details.
