Over the weekend, Pharrell Williams previewed the official music video for “Gust Of Wind” with Daft Punk. With directorial duties helmed by Edgar Wright (see: Scott Pilgrim Versus the World, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), the Virginia producer offers an immediate follow-up to his recently released visual “It Girl.”
In the video, Skateboard P and his hat heads to an undisclosed forest location, in the semi-themed sci-fi affair. Although Daft Punk doesn’t appear during the video in human form (surprised?), they make appearances through UFO-like stone heads as well as cloaking before things concluded. Those of you in Europe can catch Pharrell on a brief G I R L mini tour, with dates in France and the UK for the next 7 days.
