Much to our surprise, Woodkid has returned today with a remix of one of the biggest songs in recent memory: Pharrell‘s “Happy.” The difference with the latest version is that the French musician has flipped the song to his advantage in order to make it sad, courtesy of a completely different backing sound from slow piano chords and strings. This isn’t the first time the pair have crossed paths in some format, after P remixed “I Love You” back in June.
