Phony Ppl’s Phonyland. got more than its share of spins since it dropped, and we’re sure the same will be said about their latest EP. The 7-track opus is a story of a New York summer, and considering their last effort has been one of our favorites of 2012, this one should not disappoint. They have a fresh sound that’s not common in today’s game.
We heard Rakim say a couple weeks back, that his opinion on the future of Hip-Hop is instrumentation. Here’s a perfect example of what he was talking about. Nothing Special should be a dope soundtrack to the Summer considering the weather is turned up.
