Miami, Floridian recording artist Pitbull stopped by Sirius offices for his first ever sit-down with Howard Stern and Robin Quivers. Ironically in comparison to house-pop music, the 305 entertainer revealed a troubled past that helped build his character in ‘80s Miami. He went to reveal his stage moniker Pitbull came from being similar to a dog, in a sense too stupid to give up and fighting to death no matter a situation, he’s endured to survive thus far.

The conversation spanned into his childhood living in foster care at an early age, and using music to avoid a street path his father (a former extra-curricular hustler) warned him on staying away from. Pitbull also discussed a rare story about performing with Uncle Luke two decades ago, that had memorable introduction with the two in their first performance together.

Check after the jump for more on the conversation, which he gets into discussing future TV shows currently in the works upcoming eighth studio album due out later this year.
