As one of our favorite alternative bands of the past few months, Portugal. The Man‘s recent album has seen much rotation, partly due to the role of Danger Mouse’s production across its entirety. It’s always great to hear another act taking on a remix of their’s, but the latest arrives in the form of Jake One‘s take on “Evil Friends,” which also includes rhymes from another artist from the hip-hop roots, Danny Brown.
Although the collaboration is rather unexpected, the track gives fans a chance to hear something a little different both artists, whilst keeping the backing vocals from the group in order to keep the mood in shape.
