Like if getting White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney to comment on Jay-Z’s “Open Letter” lyrics wasn’t enough, we’re glad Today show host Savannah Guthrie is asking President Obama the tough questions. You know, only days after Boston suffered a bombing at their annual marathon, which has left three dead and dozens wounded (no arrests have been made as of yet). Or in the midst of North Korean nuclear threats as well as a defeat in Congress, after the Senate rejected a plan to expand background checks on firearms. We commend you for asking about the real issues, NBC.
So thank you Savannah for confirming the fact that the White House had nothing to do with Shawn Carter and Beyoncé Knowles’ recent visit to Havana, because they have bigger things to deal with than a Rap couple’s personal honey moon vacations.
We’re glad there aren’t more important things to talk about with the President of the United States than Dr. Kermit Gosnell, immigration, Hillary Clinton and Rap.
