Prince has been very keen to covering other artists during the later part of his career (if you’re a fan, you’d know he did the Emancipation double disc). He was back at it with his group 3RDEYEGIRL with “ANOTHERLOVE,” a single from the latest album and a cover of the Alice Smith single of the same name from her She album. The original is more cheery thanks to an uptempo piano riff, while the Prince covers is slowed down for the bedroom and contains a guitar ballad.
Either way, this should at least out you on to that PLECTRUMELECTRUM effort if you slept on it. Not to mention his own solo album Art Official Age.
