Prince fans got quite the treat today when Warner Bros. and NPG released a greatest hits compilation of Prince music. 4ever, a 40-track opus full of some of the best songs in the singer’s catalog, is one of several projects in the pipeline from the late singer that are set to see the light of day. Included with the classics, there is a new track on the new album titled “Moonbeam Levels,” which dates back to 1982 and recorded during the initial sessions for 1999.
The song was debuted at New York’s Cutting Room Recording Studios in front of a handful of Prince’s super stand and ABC News got the exclusive on it.
For those who wanted to hear some unreleased music from the Purple One, this is it.
